Unraveling the 'hidden'

The Founder of the Akanayo Herbal Clinic, Doctor Alhaji Akanayo, has said that many of the so called prophetic and spiritual revelations of the 'unknown' are discovered by physical 'signs' and 'knowledge' gifted to those who profess them.

He said that the generalization of all those gifted to 'seeing' the unknown as spiritualists was wrong. 'We often hear people branding anyone that delves into the unknown as spiritualists but it is not exactly so.'

''On the traditional calender, in the ninth month, it is a known fact that 70% of any number of women sampled will be pregnant. In the eight month, dogs mate, in the eleventh month, animals in the bush also get pregnant,' he said, 'Sitting by a fire with the blue smoke blowing towards you or any other person by the fire suggest such person has done something untoward. He who sits to the direction of the east and a bee comes to hover around his/her ear three times, suggest that he would receive a visitor. If the bee, after hovering around the ear, comes back to the person's ear suggest that the visitor the person would receive would sleepover.''

''These signs and knowledge have nothing to do with spirituality. Each one of us, at least, has a little of this gift. One could look into the face of a lady/woman and tell whether he or she is pregnant or not. One could tell whether someone is hungry/felling sleepy or not by the way a person yawns.''

Dr. Akanayo noted that there were a variety of signs and knowledge that one could use to tell what is hidden. ''We have 'time' as one of the signs among others,'' he said.

He advised the general public to be circumspect of what they hear from 'spiritualists.'
