Cola Nut |
In a part of series of
discussions on applying for loan and its consequences, the head of Black Herbal
Clinic has on Monday, 19th August, 2013, outlined the spiritual antidote
to Thursday borns in their lives.
Alhaji Akanayo said on
Nsem Pii, Happy FM, that people born on Thursday could make use of cola nut
known in the Akan parlance as “bese” to spiritually forestall success in their
lives.
He said that in Thursday
borns fighting their debt, women should look for eight (8) cases of cola nut
and men, seven (7) cases. Grind or pound the cases of the cola nut you have
collected, add “amonkyem”- locally manufactured traditional soap, and as well
add water to it. Wash (with water) your hair with the pounded mixture.
Alhaji Akanayo also
said that Thursday borns who would want a “blessing mouth” should get
themselves a type of calabash called ‘thread calabash- Ahoma koraa.” Eight (8) for
women and seven (7) for men. “Collect the very linen covering cola nut after
the hard case of the cola nut has been taken off. Eight (8) for women and seven
(7) for men,” he noted. He said that a collective of eight and seven pieces of
the linen of the cola should be put into each of eight and seven calabashes
respectively. Add water to all of them. This process should be done on Wednesday
night. On next Thursday, begin the drinking from the calabashes. Drink from a
calabash each per a day; pour water from the calabash- eight (for women) times and
seven (for men) times into your palm and drink one after the other (in terms of
the pouring).
In drawing off ‘bad eye’
and attracting a ‘good eye’ for a Thursday born child who has not reached
puberty, take the back of a cola nut tree. Divide it into eight – girl and
seven - boy, and put them into a container. Add any perfume of your choice to
it. This should be done on Wednesday night and all the perfume smeared on the child
on Thursday while saying “may a good eye find you wherever you are and bad eye
skips you,” he observed.
The Dabodabo Man said
that Thursday borns in averting bad luck should look for a type of cola nut
which is naturally half red and half white. Divide it into two; put the red
into your left palm and the white in the right palm. Say “I cancel bad luck in
my life” eight times- women, seven times – men while chewing the red cola nut. In
chewing the white cola nut, say “I want good luck in my life” eight and seven
times respectively.
For a retentive memory
for a child, collect white cola nut, eight pieces- women and seven – men. Grind
or chew the white cola nut and pour it into the bathing water of the child. After
bathing him or her, do not towel the child but leave the water to dry on the
child naturally. The child should be young that he or she needs bathing by
someone.
The Dabodabo Man
promised continuing with that of the rest of the days.
