Ghana Needs God's Direction- Prophet Kobi

By Solomon Mensah

Prophet Kobi
The Leader and Founder of the Glorious Wave Church International, Prophet Emmanuel Badu Kobi, has charged (Ghanaian) politicians to ''ask'' God for solutions to problems baffling us as a nation.

Speaking on Nsem Pii, Happy Fm, he said that majority of Ghana's problems were not found in the books of biology nor archaeology but rather in the word of God.

He noted that politicians' over reliance on 'democracy and self-knowledge' without the word of God would thwart the nation's direction to success.

Prophet Kobi said that Former President Kufour and President Mahama's HIPC and economic bailout, respectively, should tell any discerning mind that ''It's time to ask God for the right direction to achieving Ghana's desired success.''

''There is essence in relying on God,'' he said, ''I can site my church in this instance. The Lord God has directed the Church to do only two major things in the name of the Church in 2015, which are a university and a television station.''

He quoted Proverbs 3;5-6; ''Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths'' to throw a challenge to President Mahama that neither the World Bank nor the IMF would be able to help solve the 'crisis' of his administration.

''President Mahama must seek the face of God for He (God) is the Head of every would-be a successful/or successful nation. He (Mahama) needs the spirit of discernment to be able to decipher good from bad. I must put on record that both President Mahama and Nana Addo lack God's-directing-spirit needed to put a nation on the right track.''

Prophet Kobi reminded politicians that ''When the people vote you, you are the leader but you must know that you are an assistant to God.'' He prayed for the betterment of the nation (Ghana) and reiterated his stance that Ghana needs God's direction and not man's physical strength.
