A woman in her early
thirties has said on Nsem Pii, Happy FM, that she has lost her three month old
pregnancy to the ‘wind’ mysteriously.
She told Nyansa Boakwa
that a neighbour once touched her stomach in asking rhetorically whether she
was pregnant.
“I went for a scan at
the Bengali Hospital, Tema, where it was confirmed that I was pregnant but later on I
was told by the same Hospital that there was nothing in my stomach,” she noted.
She added that she then
went to her prophetess who out of seeing her confirmed her lost pregnancy.
Dr Alhaji Akanayo, a
spiritualist and a herbalist at the Black Herbal Clinic, speaking on phone said
that it was possible one taking another’s baby in the womb spiritually. “Pregnancy,
dignity are some of the things a person with a bad spirit can take from another
person.”

Pii, bemoaned the woman’s attitude in not telling her husband of her supposedly
lost pregnancy while Adwen also expressed shock over the whole brouhaha.
