The myth that hangs
over what Ghanaians have christined “for girls” has been exposed to the light of
the day on Nsem Pii- Happy FM.
Alhaji Akanayo
popularly known as the ‘Dabodabo Man’ said that there are some spiritual lights
in both men and women which control the affairs of all human beings.
‘Men have three lights, women four,” he said.
‘Men have three lights, women four,” he said.
He said that it is one
of these lights that a herbalist would set awake to attract a man to a female
or the vice versa.
Akanayo emphatically
stated that what the herbalists do in the name of giving one ‘for girls’ is
nothing but just an addition of a spiritual elememt as God has already planted
in humans whatever we want.
He noted that there are levels of ‘for girls.’ One that the person would be attracted to you temporarilly, the person staying with you in life and the last being that the person living with you till death.

Aside the herbalists’ ‘for
girls,’ he said that there are natural ‘for girls’ too. “By nature, some people
are attracted to others without such people sorting to medicine.” He noted.
Akanayo explained some
traditional methods by which one could do to get attention for himsef or herself. He
said that medicine to atract one exists but mostly could be found in rural
areas since the elements used for the preparation of the medicine are found in
such places.
He however cautioned
the general public that ‘for girls’ has a dangerous consequences on whoever
that seeks it. He said that children born out of the ‘for girls’ become social
misfits. Such children pull cutlasses, travel and never come back home among others.
“I will advice you do
not try it at all,” he warned.
